Want to play SoccerGolf?

The North County Times reports that there will be a benefit SoccerGolf match on November 12th 9:30 AM to 3 PM at Buenan Vista Elementary School in Carlsbad. Apparently it will be a nine hole course set up by a person said to be the inventor of the game. The participants will play 18 holes ( at least there are said to be getting an 18 hole scorecard.).

The competition will benefit the WWII veterans planning to travel to Washington D.C. to see the new World War II Memorial.

The cost to enter the competition is $15 ($20 if you wish to rent a ball.).

Checks are to be made out to VFW Post 7041. Call (760) 803-4935 for more information

It was hard for me to find much information on the game of SoccerGolf but check out this link.
