Management for our condominium complex engaged Urban Tree Care to trim and remove trees. Five trees were trimmed and three removed.

The tree work was done professionally, unlike a lot of hack jobs I've seen in the area. A crew of six, including three climbers, worked industriously non-stop. There were five trucks and two brush chippers.

Some trimming jobs just leave a tree topped and looking ugly for a long time. Urban Tree Care trimmed the trees properly, leaving them looking good but thinned out and no longer encroaching on the building.

On the critical side, there was no advance warning to residents. Some cars were in the way. The street and sidewalks had not been cordoned off in advance. In my judgment some greater care could have been taken to assure the safety of the crew and residents by a bit of advance planning. To be fair, perhaps this should have been done in part by condo management.

Urban Tree care is a member of the relevant tree care industry assocations, including National Arborists Association (NAA) and International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)

While the company may not be affordable for very small jobs, I recommend them for real tree work. The company does work in LA, Orange County and San Diego. Below is the contact information for San Diego.
