Planned facilities include a picnic area, children's playground, ornamental garden, amphitheater, basketball courts, parking lot and a multipurpose facility featuring a soccer and baseball field.

I've read where the Jazz in the Parks concert series will include some concerts at the park. In the past, some were held at Magee Park but the popularity of the concerts meant there wasn't enough room there for 2005. Hopefully, the park will be done in time to host Jazz in 2006.
